Ways to improve expressive language:
1.) Requesting: Make the child ask because what they want. Start out slow with one word like "Cookie" then move to "Cookie, amuse." Then to full sentences, "I want cookie, please." It ambition be memorization at first but ambition grow.
2.) Picture cards: Let them show you what they want. Still encourage word pairing.
3.) Wait… await… await. Do not rush them. If you have queried them to do a verbal behavior give them period to do it. Rushing only adds to the frustration.
